It is high time for the European fashion industry to change perspectives and redefine the fashion sector. We are reaching the tipping point of the Fashion Sector transforming to ethical, inclusive, and responsible production and consumption.
S4Fashion creates a space where the whole European fashion ecosystem can innovate, collaborate, and share knowledge during and beyond the lifecycle of the project.
NEW SUSTAINABLE AND CIRCULAR WAYS FOR FASHION
S4Fashion, a project co-funded by the COSME Programme of the European Union, aims to empower designers, start-ups, scale-ups, and small and medium businesses to introduce new sustainable and circular solutions for the fashion industry.
The Call for Proposals has been launched to allow SMEs to form transnational teams and collaborate in a pilot project introducing innovative solutions, practices, and business models for a more sustainable and circular fashion sector.
From all submitted proposals, 25 transnational partnerships will be selected to transform their sustainable and circular business ideas into reality, The selected teams will engage in building the transnational network of Sustainable Fashion Laboratories. To succeed in their mission, the selected partnerships will get access to a global community of fashion brands, designers, practitioners, researchers, and experts in the field of sustainable fashions. They will receive business as well as financial support to ensure the innovative projects develop into a marketable product, service, or business model.

The consortium partners are actively involved in sustainable and circular fashion communities across Europe through their involvement in Worth, ReFrame, WEARSustain e.a. Our ambition is to unleash the potential of the Fashion Industry by connecting those amazing networks and the collective intelligence of all parties.

S4Fashion is aiming to recode the future of fashion and this can only be made possible if a large movement drives this change ahead. S4Fashion, throughout its three-year life cycle, will produce new evidence-based knowledge on sustainability and circular economy for the fashion industry and share its findings with the whole ecosystem of the European fashion community.
